I have a Betts too! Just in case you didn't know I know some people get told they never have to feed the Betts because he will just eat the roots of the plants, but it's not enough nutrition for them, they are a little carnivorous so feeding them Betts pellets will supplement their diet and help them live better and longer. Just thought I would let ya know :) he's very pretty. I just did a post recently in my new betta
I did pick up some betta pellets to feed this new guy with, since they are carnivores. I just love the look of the plant roots in the tank. I'm actually thinking of getting another, small, underwater plant so that he has a good place to hide in the tank as well as the two plants growing up and out of the tank.
