I decided earlier today to evacuate my house, and my sister generously offered to house me, the dogs, and my cat until the flooding clears. I'm glad I decided to leave when I did, as my house is now apparently cut off from the rest of the town, by flood waters that are at least partially sewer water.
Hoping everyone else in the flood zone is staying safe and dry.
I saw the flooding on the news today. Crazy! Glad you and your animals got out just fine. :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that you, your dogs and cat are safely at your sisters! The weather has been crazy all over! Sounds like there will be lots of work when you can get back to your house.:( Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are safe!
ReplyDeleteHi! How great that you have a sister close enought to stay! The flooding sounds scary! Hope you can return home soon!
ReplyDeleteI saw that Sage is not the only muddy-mad dog!

Hi Y'all,
ReplyDeleteSo great to have relatives nearby who can help! Hope the flooding recedes and doesn't reach your house.
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
I'm glad you posted. I was thinking about you and all of the news I heard of the flooding south of here. Glad to hear you're safe.
ReplyDeleteI hope the house stays safe. After the big snow and ice storm in the Puget Sound area, flooding will be the next worry, so I sympathize!
ReplyDeleteEwww!! SEWER water?! Wow.... WE have been experiencing QUITE A DOWNPOUR around HERE, as well.... Our CRAWL SPACE has WATER in it.... But at LEAST the HOUSE is SAFE!! :-}
ReplyDeleteTake care!!
