My internet isn't working. I'm currently picking up an unsecured network with a really weak signal, but I have my doubts as to how long that will last.
Me and the dogs hit the beach on Friday since I had to drive over there to pick up a new set of tires for the car. New tires cost way too much, by the way. At least new-used tires with good tread are cheaper than brand new ones. And at least it gave me an excuse to visit my dad and take the dogs for a run on the beach.
I think the dogs enjoyed themselves.
Today I did breakfast with my sister and my mom to celebrate Mother's Day, then headed over to a dock diving practice. We've never been before, so I wasn't sure how the dogs would do. Pallo was a total chicken about the whole thing. Koira did really good for her first time out, jumping happily after only a few tries, but still hesitating on the end of the dock before jumping in. Hopefully with practice she will get better, because man, she sure LOVES this sport. Finally, something she is better at than Pallo.
And, while I have dock diving pictures, I haven't had a chance to edit them. Unedited ones are up on flickr, so you can check them out if you want. I'll share some favorites later in the week after working on them a bit and hopefully getting the internet back to working. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
New tires are way too expensive!
ReplyDeleteYour pups look great running down the beach. =)
I would meltdown without the internet, I think, fingers crossed you get it back online asap!
ReplyDeleteLove the dock diving pics, I wish we had the weather here for it!
They certainly look like they're having fun!
ReplyDeleteI do agree, new tires are costly :(
Good luck on the Internet front. I never realize just how dependent I am on it, until I don't have it.
The beach is tons of fun

Great picture! Good luck with your internet! I have been having troubles with mine too!
ReplyDeleteWow dock diving! I think that's a wayyy courageous thing to do for a dog--I think I'd chicken out too!
ReplyDeleteYou've been so busy while I've been away:) Lovely photos and the dock diving looks and sounds like fun ... unless you're Pallo, lol. I think Frankie would like it once he got the idea.
ReplyDeleteI still haven't got my wireless broadband set up and miss sitting on the couch at night with my iPad, but I'll get there. Hope yours is sorted by now.
