I will confess this is not technically a pumpkin patch, dog friendly, or even open to the public. I was driving around in the country, following my GPS's crazy instructions, and drove past this amazing pumpkin field. Spur of the moment, I pulled the car over and asked a man standing outside his house if it was his field and if I could take pictures. He said it wasn't his, but he knew the owner and didn't think he would mind.
I was careful that the dogs never actually entered the field- we stayed off to the side (same as for the wheat field we took pictures in). And, the farmer was actually harvesting at the time, with a tractor that removed the plants and rolled the pumpkins into long rows of orange. He saw us taking pictures and just waved, so I guess he was okay with it!
