It is so beautiful to see one in such great shape, rather than the usual fatty ones (and I'm even talking about the ones I see in agility, who are relatively trim and in shape!).

I have Weims and it is pretty remarkable the spectrum of Weim-shape you see, and even the differences in individual dogs as they get fit up for field trialing versus fattened up for the confirmation ring. :(Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12819073636134328910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860110177277868021.post-1961459654960221932014-04-05T10:36:20.363-07:002014-04-05T10:36:20.363-07:00Wow! Such a difference between a competitive dog like this and those Westminster dogs we wrote about a few months ago. I agree she probably could stand to gain a few pounds and be none the worse for it, but I understand in competition season it's hard to keep the weight on - even on a Lab. My sister has a hunting Weimie and during hunting season you almost can't feed her enough, she just burns it off.SlimDoggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10830198538573500213noreply@blogger.com
